As Birth & Childcare Professionals we have the opportunity to support our clients more fully by continuing to expand our own training & experience.  Each class below is designed to help you to grow your knowledge and skills in a particular topic while also guiding you on how to synthesize this information and offer your clients the cliff-notes of various techniques, routines, and options that may work best for their family.  With each offering you will receive invaluable resources to utilize and share with your clients.

Providing Clients With Sleep Support

Does every client you work with seem to be asking you when their baby will sleep through the night, nap longer, or be able to follow a more consistent schedule?  This class is specifically designed to help you better understand science of infant sleep to best support your clients in forming healthy sleep habits from the beginning.  We will discuss sleep cycles, biological norms, safe sleep, calming techniques, age appropriate "schedules", and how to help clients manage challenges & expectations.  Come armed with your questions and to be ready to practice some new strategies!

Circle of Security Parenting

Over the course of eight-part series we will discuss how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened.  Based on decades of research the Circle of Security model helps parents and caregivers to understand children’s emotional world, learn to identify their emotional needs, and support their ability to successfully manage these emotions.  This series is an amazing tool to help you deepen your own knowledge base to better support the families you serve as a Professional Care Provider.
