Postpartum Doula Services
Research has shown that parents who receive postpartum support have lower incidence of depression and feel more confident in their adjustment to new family dynamics. Traditionally, this support came from one's family and close-knit community. Today, however, such support is not always readily available. Parents often feel unsure and alone as they do their best to manage and "survive" the first days, weeks, and months. You don't have to struggle through these early days though. With nurture, guidance, and support your family will thrive!
My goal as a Postpartum Doula is to equip you with knowledge and resources, helping you to find your confidence so that you feel fully prepared to care for your baby and yourself. I strive to lessen your load by providing care and support for the whole family. The specifics of my duties will depend on your needs and preferences, and will likely vary during my time with you. When in doubt, feel free to ask if a particular service or task is within my scope of practice. You may be amazed by all I can and will do to assist you.

To fully support your growing family, I offer a variety of Service Packages. If you are unable to find an option that best meets your needs I am also happy to create a customized package with you. My services always begin with a complimentary Discovery Call to get to know one another, answer any questions you may have, and explore the services that may best serve your growing family.
When moving forward, with a signed agreement and retainer, I will hold space for you based upon your scheduling preferences and anticipated contract length. Of course, despite our best plans, babies arrive when they are ready! For this reason, I hold a "due month" rather than a "due date" for every client, starting two weeks prior to our estimated start date and extending two weeks beyond. This allows me to be "on call" to begin services as soon as your first day/night home with your little one.
